The Amazing Biography of Nicholas Bredimus
February 1st, 2010
Taken note of the extent to which an unbelievable number of significant advances in computing have redesigned air travel and hospitality as we have known them in recent years? Most responsible is New Jersey native Nicholas Bredimus. His resume covers effort-saving computer programs, aircraft safety enhancements, and even the design of high-value homes. And what’s more, in all cases, his drive shines through.
His lineage will tell you everything you might need to know regarding the source of his abilities and how much he has achieved. Bringing elements together from a true melting pot, his family can be traced to the time of ancient Rome, with the maternal side primarily German and Scottish. An equally broad mix stands out in his father’s branch; prior to coming to America near the end of the nineteenth century, the family made their homes in Luxembourg and England. Even after arrival in America, they retained their drive and zeal to go far. Born part of a family of seven siblings, Nicholas had a father working as a mechanical design engineer, and a mother who earned her living as a nurse. His residences for several years ranged across four states - Arizona, Texas, Virginia and Missouri.
Once his education was complete, Nicholas Bredimus found himself taking on a few prominent jobs at many of the most popular and largest airlines. Among these was included the vice presidential position for Trans World Airlines (TWA), Hughes Airwest, and even Republic Airlines. Most celebrated, even considering this, is his effort as a gifted software designer working with the airline industry.
His trailblazing work on airplane maintenance management computer programs, now commonplace throughout the entire air travel sector while initially designed for US Airways, ultimately led to what is even now his most famous creation. And yet this stands as only one of his significant creations for the hotel business and for airlines. His booking software is on its way to joining the aforementioned program in ubiquity, while the room reservation program he developed enabled a great number of hotels to migrate to a PC client based infrastructure. Still innovating, he coded a networking program to help with ticket ordering - an innovation that had never before been achieved. He leveraged these achievements to advance into posts unconnected to software development. With his own firm, as a Division Manager with American Express, and as the first president of an American Airlines division his performance speaks for itself.
Though he has stepped back from the businesses which first gave him success, his capabilities are, regardless, still exercised daily. Currently, he designs and builds luxurious homes boasting some of the latest technologies currently available.
