Whichever it shall be, all of the ladies’ ranges feature cuffs, earrings designed for day and evening and a variety of lengths of chains.
Everybody knows that Xmas is a wonderful time of year for kids and so John Hardy has a special selection of jewelry especially for them. Sizing aside, each piece has been produced the very same capital quality as any other adult item from John Hardy. Gifting any boy or girl some precious jewelry provides them with something that they will always cherish. Very young children and new parents are bound to be very tricky to buy for with all of the presents they tend to get, a state of affairs potentially aggravated by the fact that parents’ standards of expectation will be more than a little demanding. This could indeed be quite an embarrassment for even the most well-meaning giver. Silver christening spoons, baby-rattles and even cups are just a couple of the gift ideas promoted by John Hardy as an easy way out. To give a little back this Xmas, there is the phenomenal Bamboo initiative specifically designed for eco-shoppers. This original program is named Wear Bamboo, Plant Bamboo and when someone purchases an item from this program, young bamboo plants are planted in the South Pacific region using a portion of the revenue. Every item of jewelry is marked with the precise number of young bamboo plants donated before shipping. There is an enormous choice to appeal to anyone’s preference, indeed being environmentally friendly this Xmas is so simple…
Save time this Holiday season by taking a look at what John Hardy jewelry has to offer before you head to the local shopping mall.

DKNY (Donna Karan New York) is a young fashion label held by the American designer Donna Karan. Together with her husband Stephen Weiss, she founded the label in 1985 in New York, USA. Karan was born on October 2, 1948 in Forest Hills, Queens, USA. She grew up in Long Island and visited in 1966 the New Yorker artist school “Parsons – The New School For Design”.
A lot of new ideas came from Donna’s husband
Donna Karan officiated as head designer and created the distinctive style of DKNY. Her intention was to merge comfort and luxurious elements. While she was developing her 1st collection, Donna Karan orientated herself on the needs of her family. Specially her husband gave her a lot of inspiration and so Donna Karan was able to release her first menswear collection “DKNY Men” in 1992.
The opening of their premier flagship store took place in London in 1997. Two years later the famous shop at 550, 7th Avenue in New York followed. At the moment, there are more than 70 DKNY stores worldwide including affiliates in China (Shanghai and Hong Kong), Canada (Montreal and Toronto) and even Dubai.
Timepieces are an essential part of the DKNY collection
The products of the company range from costumes to purses, baby stuff and shades and include almost all sorts of dresses and accessories. Watches are an important part of the DKNY collection, too. Donna Karan sells different collections for women and men. A few unisex models are produced by DKNY as well.
Designer timepieces of DKNY are best-known for their interesting price-performance ratio. They are inexpensive and ensure also high quality. All the wrist watches are crafted and built with quality materials like real stainless steel, silver, gold or leather. The so named “stainless steel watches” belong to the most noted collection DKNY wrist watches. The wrist watches are as stylish as their fashion clothes and accessories are. Apropos: Since 2007, timepieces are along with jeans and underclothing the only products of DKNY, that have been online available for men. women watches

From pocket watch to a fashion accessory. What was once, in the earliest years of portable watches, considered to be unsuitable for men and only for women, has grown today into a fashion utensil that everybody has. In the meantime, the wrist watch is no longer only a tool to tell which time it is. It is a designer piece and can indicate much more than the time.
A great deal of mechanics in a small housing
The first verifiable portable timepiece was developed in 1500. This was not a wrist watch, but more of a pocket watch. Through technical advance, which made it possible for people to house mechanics in an more and more smaller space, the necessary components of the clockworks were able to be brought into a manageable form. In this way, the first pocket watch was born, which at the time was still the size of an egg.
The computerized wrist watch from Japan
A totally different watch came onto the market in the 1970’s from Japan, which had developed its own watch industry. The new wrist watch from Japan was no longer set on a mechanical basis, but on a computerized control. This watch expanded its range of capacity rapidly. The watch no longer just showed the time. The small timepiece on the wrist now also knew the date, the day of the week and even knew whether a leap year was involved.
The wristwatch as jewelry
Nowadays, the wristwatch is no longer just a watch. The wrist watch has become a fashion accessory. Wrist watches come in all colouration and shapes cogitable. One can also buy compatible watches from all fashion collection. The current watches are dominated by the correct fashion trends. Despite these various styles, there is something for every taste. The small watches, which need eyeglasses to tell the time, and the extravagant big watches, which make it difficult to walk upright. By all means, one thing is sure: science is still likely to make so much advancement - that the wristwatch will be seen on the wrists of people for a long time, to respond to the question as to what time it is.
