Property Index: the Worldwide Estate Info Center

August 29th, 2008

Property Index are specialists for property in Italy, view the site to see the different properties.

Notwithstanding the fact that PropertyIndex.com is generally viewed as a rather young agency, they were registered in March 2007, they were quick to prove their mettle. De facto, they are a incredibly accessible agency entirely dedicated to offering informed instructions to every customer determined to rent, buy, sell etc. property in most parts of the world. Their promise is to aid you find bang-on what’s desired very swiftly plus, obviously, sans pain. Real estate is available for the asking in many parts of the world currently, one of the choicest areas being properties you can purchase in Italy. It should be fairly easy to write a list of the phenomenal properties you can purchase in Italy, the reason for investigating properties here is the houses and apartments on the market and the option of living with such a animated people.

It is one of the truly popular countries currently, and considering the scenic beauty and wonderful weather surrounding you round the clock, who could say no! Real estate in Italy is immersed in culture, art and history, this realm of the world has been and still is home to a fair number of sophisticated cultures. Some 25-30 years back there’d be merely a tiny number of Britishers looking for properties in Italy. Just ask any person who has emigrated to Italy and they will tell you the same thing. Many people would will insist on viewing it as a simple trend and others will insist on viewing it as a that’s nearly an addiction. People set on relocating to this place generally range from young families in search of an exciting new challenge to OAPs planning to take it easy.

Bear in mind, however, that you may likely encounter a few drawbacks when attempting to purchase properties abroad; you’ll have to cope with dozens of different, not entirely logical, actions whether organising, visiting or finalising. If you only miss one single minor action that can initiate wide-reaching drawbacks as well as, critically, financial loss. Obviously, as can be anticipated with this fashionable place, properties can be dear in this region and that is naturally due to the wide spread buyer demand. Regardless of this the property buyer really is persnickety in an area so great in terms of golden landscape and ripping setting. It’s got all, stock and barrel, a patron might ever yearn for and more.

2006 Trends in Autonomous Underwater Vehicles AUVs

August 28th, 2008

In 2005 we witnessed researchers and scientists come out with new designs and applications for AUVs Autonomous Underwater Vehicles and Underwater ROVs Remotely Operated Vehicles. Some still call AUVs; UUVs or Unmanned Underwater Vehicles. All of which had significant advances in 2005.

ROVs for instance proved their self worth in rescuing Russian Submersible crewmembers who were stuck under an underwater cable and running out of oxygen. AUVs assisted in the New Orleans Hurricane Katrina Disaster and Solar Powered AUVs are currently working with bio-remediation and environmental clean up teams in Lake Ponchartrain.

At MIT Marine Lab researchers and Grad Students put together robotic fish using polymer muscles and skeletal actuators, which powered the AUVs like a fish wiggling thru the water.

The United States Navy and the US Coast Guard ordered many unmanned autonomous vehicles for underwater surveillance of shipyards, harbors and coastlines. These units will also be used to guard the Navy fleet from underwater enemy submarine threats as well. In 2006 we will see major contracts awarded to defense contractors using net-centric systems including AUVs to patrol our coastlines.

We will see AUVs, which are self recharging from the sun and from underwater wave motion generators which will be omni-present. We will see more monitoring of volcanic vents and studying of deep see creatures that the world has never seen with incredible video footage that will put previous undersea science fiction movies to shame. All this in 2006.

Offshore Outsourcing: A Day in Hell for the Customer

August 28th, 2008

I just finished a grueling call with a Dell representative from India.

Hey! Wait a minute! I thought Dell was bringing their technical support back to the United States? Well…that may be the case but this was not a technical support person. It was sales! To add insult to injury, the phone connection was so bad that I got a high pitched squeal during the call.

The conversation went so badly that I could not make an order. As a matter of fact, I could not even get a credit account setup after approval. Believe me, it is a long story.

There is a type of gridlock that occurs when you try to execute business transactions across cultures not to mention continents! The cultural soft skills that Americans employ to naturally move other Americans through a business transaction, such as sales and support, is just not there with personnel in India.

John Dir, a 20 year IT pro says it best when he said, “When I buy a product from an American company, and find out I get foreign support, I feel cheated like someone slipped me a crap sandwich. Regardless of who makes a product, or how it manages to make its way into my house, I expect Americans to back it up if they want me to buy another one. Every other country in the world gets their own people behind products sold to them, so why can’t American consumers expect the same from business in this land.”

I will pay more for a product just to make sure I have sales and support that understands me well enough to take me through my purchases and fix my problems when I am in need.

Because I am experiencing this so often, I ask the question: Are there any Big Name companies that care about their American customers enough to give them American help so that I and millions of other Americans don’t have to keep suffering through this support nightmare? Dell, don’t bring it back home in the right hand and slip it out of the country in the left. Dell, take care of American customers with American representatives.

Understanding Google AdWords

August 27th, 2008

Google AdWords
Unlike many search engines Google, to its credit, clearly denotes search listings that are paid placement. In fact, Google AdWords appear in a separate section down the left side of the screen.

Google AdWords provide an inexpensive advertising venue for businesses to advertise products or services to a targeted audience. Advertisers have the ability to control their budget, target their advertising based on keywords. Advertisers are also free to determine the ad contents.

Google AdWords allow for nearly instant traffic, which can be turned on and off. Traffic results can be measured, providing information on what is successful, what isn’t and what needs to be changed. AdWords can be found that work by running a test campaign.

Benefits to AdWords
Advertisers bid on keywords, the more an advertiser is willing to pay the higher the likelihood the ad will appear higher in position in the list of ads served. Google, invariably wanting to make the most from advertisers, determines placement based on a combination of click through rate, bid amount and budget. Of course, in order to maximize revenue and please searchers Google does have guidelines for ads served and all ads must receive a minimum percentage click through or they are removed.

AdWord Guidelines
Clearly and accurately describe the website, this is to the advertiser and searchers benefit. Ultimately, the more qualified the visitor who clicks the ad, the higher the likelihood the clicker will convert into a sale. By providing clear and accurate information, searchers who click the ad are qualified leads, which tend to convert more consistently than unqualified leads. The most effective advertising communicates a clear message to a targeted audience.

Avoid excessive capitalization, superlatives and lavish exclamation marks in the ad. By doing this you are not only serving the visitor you are filtering unwanted clicks from non-buyers. Due to space limitations your ad message will need to be concise. Select keywords that are relevant to your product, service or content. Call to action phrases are not allowed (i.e. you cannot use phrases like “click here” in your ad copy.) There are also no pop-ups.

Steps for AdWord Campaign

1.) Open an account

2.) Target language and country - This is very important because if your product or service can not be exported you do not want to pay to advertise in those countries for which your product or service can not be sold.

3.) Create Ad Group - design an ad, select keywords, determine maximum cost per click that you are willing to spend and define bid amounts.

Title
The title tag is generally the most important part of the ad be sure to use a short phrase that gets the attention of your target audience. An underutilized feature at Google allows you to put a question mark in the title, the term searched on automatically replaces the question mark in the title of your ad.

Define max click - Google will suggest a cost per click, but the recommendation does not need to be adhered to. Arguments have been heard that #1 position does not always mean increased sales; sometimes a second position will filter useless clicks and provide targeted traffic with a higher conversion ration. The rule of thumb is positions 1-3 garner the most traffic and best results. Increasing either your maximum cost-per-click or the ads click through rate will generally improve the ad’s position.

Use keyword variations to reach more prospects. A variety or spellings and derivatives of keywords will increase the chances of your ads being served. Be sure to use common misspellings and plurals in your keyword list.

Broad match - is targeting keywords in a loosely defined manner. Ads appear based on keywords that have been queried by search users. For instance, if the keywords you are planning on broad matching are “mountain bikes” and users search for the terms “bikes that can climb a mountain”, your ad will appear; as opposed to exact match, which requires that the keywords selections must exactly match the query.

Phrase match - is indicated when quotations are used in the phrase. A keyword phrase set to phrase match will only appear when the exact phrase is searched on. For example “mountain bikes” will appear when searchers search for “brand name mountain bikes”.

Exact match - is when the keyword or phrase is entered with brackets. The phrase will only serve ads when the entered search phrase is identical to the keyword phrase. “Mountain bikes” will only appear when searchers search for “mountain bikes”

Negative keyword - is helpful in filtering unrelated phrases. A dash is entered before the filtering phrase. “Mountain bike -races will not appear if mountain bike races are searched on.

Landing Page - is important because this not only helps with tracking, but also provides a focused and specific landing page for searchers. Information can be related to the actual search, while also increasing the conversion ratios for sales. A focused landing page with content related and using the same terminology as the actual search, will show the searcher that your solution is relevant to their needs.

3.) Define budget - in order to maximize exposure Google recommends a daily budget for each campaign.

Google’s suggested budget is helpful in receiving consistent traffic throughout the advertising campaign. Keep in mind this is only Google’s recommendation; ultimately it is up to you to determine a budget that is affordable and suitable.

Google supplies tracking tools that assist webmasters in determining their return on investment based on keyword searches and phrases. While the technology is not perfect and cannot track phone and purchase orders, it should give advertisers a sense of what phrases and keywords are converting well in their advertising campaign.

While Google AdWords should not be your only advertising campaign, but should be a significant part of your campaign. Google AdWords can certainly help send those important targeted searchers to your website. Get started with Google AdWords at http://www.google.com/ads/

Halo 2 Strategy

August 24th, 2008

After experimenting with a couple of different strategies, I found this to be the most effective Halo 2 strategy. Mind you, it’s mostly for offense in CTF.

To begin the game, have each teammate get the weapon for their role(i.e. sniper). The sniper should first try to pick off at least two guys within 15 seconds of each other (hopefully one is the enemy sniper). Once he does that, send in one battle rifle guy and the close-range guy to their base.

The second battle rifle guy should move into a position where he can cover the sniper and still lay down some fire at the enemy.

Oh yea, if you’re playing 2 flag CTF, have the sniper cover the flag. Make sure he has a close-range weapon though. But hopefully, the enemy will never get that close to him.

Next, have the close-range guy go into the base or wherever the flag is. Don’t crouch, just run towards the flag. The first battle rifle man should be following him, crouching. He should find a corner or something where he has a shot at the flag area, but not be easily seen, and should be positioned there before someone touches the flag.

Your sniper and second rifle man should move in a bit. If the enemy’s sniper rifle is open for grabs, have your second battle rifle man get it. If that’s the case, have both snipers cover all the exits.

Then, have the close-range guy go get the flag. His job is to just get the flag out of the base or into the open. The first rifle guy, who was in the corner, should start attacking the enemy at this time. Hopefully, he’ll be able to get a kill or two since the enemy is concerned with killing the flag guy.

If the close-range guy had succeeded in getting the flag in the open, the first rifle man should get it and go. The 2(best-case scenario) snipers should cover him.

Unless, you’re snipers are trash, you should be able to win with ease from there.

Even if you don’t have both snipers, you should be able to win, it’s just going to be a little bit harder.

If you wanna check out the defensive strategy that goes hand-in-hand with this strategy, go to Halo Insider.

Potty Training Guide

August 21st, 2008

Toilet training (herein referred to as “potty training”) is an exciting time for parents and children, as the child takes the next step to becoming a “big” girl or boy. While parents usually start this adventure filled with the anticipation of being able to cross “diapers” off the shopping list, their toddlers can make them wonder if this will ever happen.

Successful potty training requires a positive attitude and tons of patience on the parent’s part. More importantly, it requires cooperation and readiness on the part of the trainee. Attempting to train a child who is not physically or
emotionally mature will not only be unproductive, it will cause unnecessary stress for both parent and toddler.

The American Academy of Pediatrics advises that between 18 and 24 months, children often begin to show signs of being ready to begin training. Some children may not be ready until 30 months or older. Since children under the age of 18 months have little to no control over their bladder or bowel movements, beginning before this time is not useful.

Some of the signs that indicate a child is ready to be trained are:

Your child shows interest in using the toilet.

Your child makes a face, changes her posture or tells you when she is about to urinate or have a bowel movement.

Your child wants to be changed soon after soiling his diaper.

Your child can speak well enough to communicate when she needs to use the potty.

How to Start

Once you feel your child is ready to begin potty training, the first step is to purchase a potty chair. A potty chair is smaller than the toilet and helps the child to feel more secure.

Have your child sit on the potty during times she is most likely to urinate or have a bowel movement, such as in the morning, before and after naps or after mealtimes. Reading a book, talking or singing songs will encourage your child to sit on the chair longer. Avoid trying to force your child to sit for long periods of time or against her will.

Don’t be surprised if, after sitting on the potty without result, your child stands up and begins to urinate. This is often perceived as stubbornness. The fact is, your child may not have mastered the skill of relaxing his bladder muscles. If this happens frequently, it may be a sign that he is not yet ready.

Training Pants

When your child begins to successfully use the potty, you may want to consider purchasing training pants for daytime use. Disposable training pants are convenient for outings, but cotton training pants will allow your child to be more aware of when they are urinating, encouraging them to use the potty instead. Plastic diaper covers will help protect your home from accidents.

Nighttime

Some children simultaneously learn to stay dry during the day and at night. For others, it can take several months, even a few years. Allowing your child to wear a diaper at night until she begins to consistently wake up dry will prevent feelings of shame and failure.

Regression

A new baby, changes in routine, family crisis or putting too much pressure on your child, can cause him to regress in the potty department. Avoid making your child feel bad during this time and encourage him to keep trying.

Relax

Every child’s body is different. Some catch on quickly, while others take much longer to recognize the signals their body is sending them. Lavish praise on your child when she is successful and reassurance when she has an accident.

Avoid comparing your child’s potty training progress to that of an another child’s. Mastering the use of the toilet is not an indication of a child’s intelligence. It is dependent on their physical, physiological and emotional maturity. Have patience and eventually, your child will be a “big” boy or girl.

Recognizing Depression’s Warning Signs

August 16th, 2008

Depression is a serious illness, not a harmless part of life. It is a complex disorder with a variety of causes. It is never caused by just one thing. It may be the result of a mix of factors, including genetic, chemical, physical, and sociological. It is also influenced by behavior patterns learned in the family and by cognitive distortions.

Depression affects millions of people in this country. It is always troubling, and for some people it can be disabling. Depression is more than just sadness or “the blues.” It can have an impact on nearly every aspect of a person’s life. People who suffer from depression may experience despair and worthlessness, and this can have an enormous impact on both personal and professional relationships. In this newsletter, I will describe many of the factors that may cause depression, and I will explore strategies for preventing it.

Depression Is Pervasive

When a person suffers from depression, it can affect every part of his or her life, including one’s physical body, one’s behavior, thought processes, mood, ability to relate to others, and general lifestyle.

Symptoms of Depression

People who are diagnosed with clinical depression have a combination of symptoms from the following list:

• Feelings of hopelessness, even when there is reason to be hopeful

• Fatigue or low energy

• Much less interest or pleasure in most regular activities

• Low self-esteem

• Feeling worthless

• Excessive or inappropriate guilt

• Lessened ability to think or concentrate

• Indecisiveness

• Thinking distorted thoughts; having an unrealistic view of life

• Weight loss or gain without dieting

• Change in appetite

• Change in sleeping patterns

• Recurrent thoughts of death

• Suicidal thoughts

• A specific plan for committing suicide

• A suicide attempt

• Feelings of restlessness or being slowed down

When a person is suffering from depression, these symptoms cause significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning. This means that the person’s family and social relationships, as well as work life, are impaired.
When a person is suffering from depression, symptoms such as these are not the result of a chronic psychotic disorder, substance abuse, general medical condition, or bereavement.

Grief, Sadness, and Depression

Depression may include feelings of sadness, but it is not the same as sadness. Depression lasts much longer than sadness. While depression involves a loss of self-esteem, grief, disappointment and sadness do not. People who are depressed function less productively. People who are sad or disappointed continue to function.

Depression and Socioeconomic Factors

Depression does not seem to be related to ethnicity, education, income, or marital status. It strikes slightly more women than men. Some researchers believe that depression strikes more often in women who have a history of emotional and sexual abuse, economic deprivation, or are dependent on others. There seems to be a genetic link; depression is more common among parents, children, and siblings of people who are diagnosed with depression. The average age at the onset of a depressive episode is the mid-20s. People born more recently are being diagnosed at a younger age.

Physical Causes

Many physicians believe that depression results from a chemical imbalance in the brain. They often prescribe antidepressant medication, and many people find relief as a result. However, there is no reliable test to identify such a chemical imbalance. It is unknown whether life experiences cause mood changes, which create changes in brain chemistry, or whether it works in reverse.

Depression may be associated with physical events such as other diseases, physical trauma, and hormonal changes. A person who is depressed should always have a physical examination as part of the assessment process to determine the role of physical causes.

Signs That Professional Treatment Is Needed

If you or someone you know is depressed and exhibits any of the following signs, it is extremely important to seek the assistance of a medical or mental health professional.

1. Thinking about death or suicide. This is always dangerous and you should see a professional therapist immediately.

2. When symptoms of depression continue for a long time, you may need professional help. Acute responses to events are normal, but they should not last beyond a reasonable time.

3. Your ability to function is impaired by your depression. Seek help before your life situation deteriorates to a serious level.

4. You have become so isolated that you have no one with whom to check reality. Seek out someone to share your thoughts and feelings with.

5. Depressive symptoms have become severe.

Who Are Men Really?

August 14th, 2008

Who are men really? Macho and sensitive or abusers. Once upon a time I witnessed one of the toughest, macho, ex-marine construction foremen I know do a beautiful thing. When our accountant got married, her wedding was in another state and thus no one from here was invited to the wedding. This man made a point to find out her favorite color and the size of their bed, and ordered some very fine monogrammed linens for her. He arrived at her office with a large cardboard box. He put it on her chair and told her gruffly that someone delivered the box to his office by mistake. After she opened the box, he made a few slightly suggestive jokes about what they were going to do on their new sheets. She was very touched and tried to thank him but he just turned bright red and sloughed off the appreciation. It was obvious to me that this macho man has a very tender, romantic side to him that he is embarrassed to reveal but still will because he has the honor and integrity of a man. I believe that men are like this all the time.

Before my mother died, she was in a nursing home with Alzheimer’s. My dad who was an electrical contractor and president of every organization he ever joined is the epitome of macho. He would visit my mother daily. She did not even recognize him and could not carry on a conversation. He would go to the nursing home and sit with her. He’d turn off his hearing aid and just talk to her about what was going on in his life and with all of their 6 children. Then he would paint her fingernails, curl and brush her hair and take her for ice cream. This went on for several years until she died. I would never have imagined that my dad could have been so tender and sweet, but he was.

I was present at the birth of my first grandchild along with my son-in-law. I watched as my daughter delivered her son and the doctor checked him and then handed him to my son-in-law. Jason was so moved by the birth of his son that as he held him in his hands, tears rolled down his face. I have seen this scene repeated again and again at the many births I have witnessed.

Years ago I saw my husband, champion wrestler, black belted in Judo and Karate, world class wrestling coach and former Green Beret shed a tear when our pet rabbit was mangled by a wild dog.

At my husband’s funeral, there were about a thousand men, visibly shaken, some so shook up they could not speak, but those who did spoke of his commitment to them as men and how he had sacrificed to teach them to change their lives from pre-delinquent to upstanding citizen, mayor, school principal, police officer, business owner, fathers and coaches. He accomplished this as a man, actually as a wrestling coach who took the toughest boys he could find on the street and taught them to channel their aggression into an acceptable form where they could become champions and experience success.

What do all of these examples prove?

It proves that men are our heroes, saviors, gladiators and rescuers. They represent honor, integrity and toughness. They fight for what they believe, they are the first to come to the rescue of a damsel, child or animal in distress. They perform these tasks silently, not asking for praise or recognition. They are stoic, often working while in pain or sick, frequently refusing to see a doctor until they are severely ill.
They come across as tough guys and are unwilling to show their emotions for fear of being thought a wimp. It is these characteristics that make them our heroes and yet women criticize them harshly for being unemotional, detached and macho.

Our American society puts a lot of pressure on men to perform, control their emotions, be tough, and live within a tight definition of what is masculine. Then we criticize them for being the way that we have pressured them to be. So what is it about men that creates their tough shell and soft insides?

Let us look at the extreme of what men are allowed to express. What is the cost of macho?
Perhaps it is true that men are raised from birth to “suck it up”, “be a man” and “tough it out” but what has this created in terms of man/woman relationship? It seems that all of this “macho training” results in universal abuse of both men and women.

The “boys network”, those conversations that go on in locker rooms, bars and places only frequented by men are focused on women as sex objects. A solitary man may be willing to show his emotions and feelings to a woman that he loves, but are men becoming more inhibited in that respect as well. Based on the current divorce rate and irreconcilable differences, it appears that men and women cannot transcend the emotional barriers that they must in order to connect and communicate with those that they love. The responsibility is not exclusively on men. Women play a huge part in the creation of these irresponsible expectations, which are placed upon the male species at birth and propagated throughout their lives. The suppression of male emotion results in the unpredictable environment of unfocused and inappropriate anger and possible violence. It is well known that anger is an acceptable emotion for men to reveal, but does it have to be the only one?

Have you noticed that the man who supports or defends a woman in a highly charged testosterone environment is targeted as a wimp and potentially places himself in danger?
These are the standards by which boys are raised and men continue to support. This is abusive both to men and women. One of Oprah’s shows focused on these very issues and the guests on her show were all men, some former pro athletes, former spousal abusers, therapists and young college students all in support of a movement to broaden the definition of what it means to be a man.

I’m going to say two things that are very controversial.

1. American society tolerates a very narrow range of masculine emotion.

2. The abuse of women is so pervasive, underhanded and unrecognized that it is accepted as the norm by both sexes. Thus, it is passively perpetuated. Many men who recognize but do not participate in this form of sexual degradation of women, just keep quiet and do not step up to the defense of women for fear of repercussions. It is in this way that men can be guilty of abuse.

What these two statements reveal is that we are still in the infancy of our personal development as a nation.

The Perfect Way To Motivate Your Referral Sources

August 9th, 2008

Copyright 2006 John Jantsch

You know you have much to offer your referral partners but, they don’t seem very motivated to refer you to their network.

You’ve taken the lawyer, accountant, financial planner and insurance broker to lunch, explained your greatness but, still, they don’t ever send any referrals your way. Maybe it’s time to shift the entire dynamic in this little referral process and spark their motivation by getting them to chase you instead.

Today I plan to outline two very powerful tactics that will get your prime referral target partners to return your calls, introduce you to their network and actively market your business.

Before I do though I want to explain the universal principle these tactics are built upon.

When you make a sales call on one of your prime referral prospects, the focus is one what “they” can do for “you.” In that scenario, you are indeed selling. What if your reversed the focus and presented a referral partnership that instead focused on what “you” were going to do for “them?”

The tactics I am about to outline will give you the creative framework but, this shift in focus is the driver and a principle so strategic in nature that it’s worth looking for other ways to apply.

So, to shift the focus to your referral source I offer two powerful strategies.

1) The Perfect Introduction In Reverse - Make up a list of 25 prime referral sources - Those folks that you know serve your same market and could easily influence some percentage of that market to consider your services. Write to these source and tell them that you admire what they do and think that you have clients that you could refer to them. Include a form in this mailing that allows them to explain in their own words exactly how to introduce them to your clients. Ask them to fill this form out using your Perfect Introduction as an example and return it to you.

Simple as this sounds it will forever alter how they view your business. And, you will certainly receive some information that will allow you to refer a portion of these sources to your clients. But, you will also be amazed by the amount of positive feedback you receive from the simple twist in the selling dynamic. All of a sudden you become the client instead of the salesperson.

2) Interview Syndrome - No matter what the topic, everyone likes to be interviewed. I publish a podcast here - and I’m amazed at the caliber of guest that will return my phone call or email when I ask to interview them for my podcast. Granted, my podcast has a few more listeners than the average small time AM radio talk show these days but, there is something fetching about the lure of the media interview.

Here is how you apply this to your referral network. Make up a list of professionals or service providers that you think would have something worthwhile to say to your target audience. Then, once a month, invite one of these experts to participate in a recorded interview. Record, broadcast or otherwise syndicate this content on your web site or even as a series of CDs. Or, you can host these events as live teleseminars and invite your guest speakers to promote the call to their clients and prospects.

So now when you approach a potential referral source you are no longer asking them to do something for you, you are asking them if they want to be famous, or something close to it. Can you how one of the above tactics might change how you approach your referral sources? Try either of these for a while and just might find referral sources begging to be on your team.

How A Debt Consolidation Company Can Help You

August 9th, 2008

If you’re tired of juggling lots of debt payments, you’re having trouble making your monthly payments, or you’re starting to get angry calls from creditors, a Debt Consolidation Company can help you get control of your finances. These organizations, also known as Debt Management Companies, have lots of experience and expertise in the area of debt consolidation. Here’s what they can do for you:

LOWER YOUR COSTS

Many debt consolidation or debt management companies will negotiate on your behalf with your creditors. They’ll call your credit card companies and ask for a lower interest rate, or they can request that some of your extra fees be waived. They’re experts at this type of work, and they understand the ins and outs of negotiating for a better rate. By doing this, your monthly payments–and overall costs–will be lowered, too, making it easier for you to manage your bills.

GIVE YOU ONE MONTHLY PAYMENT

If you’re like the average American, you have six, eight or even ten different credit cards. For most people, that means a lot of paperwork and bills each month. However, a debt consolidation company will consolidate all those debts into one monthly payment. You’ll send your payment to the company, and they’ll distribute the appropriate amounts to your various creditors. If you have trouble keeping track of all your bills, chances are you’ll like the simplicity of one single payment each month.

EDUCATE YOU ABOUT CASH MANAGEMENT
